Breaking the silence, restoring hope.
Unity Blossom Together Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Wakiso District, Uganda, committed to improving the lives of women, girls, couples, and families affected by reproductive health and fertility challenges. We work to break the silence around infertility, sexual and reproductive health issues, menstrual stigma, and gender-based vulnerabilities through awareness creation, psychosocial support, menstrual hygiene campaigns, and advocacy for safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
Our programs also focus on gender based violence response, women and girls’ empowerment through microloans, income-generating activities, and skills development. By addressing both the health and social impacts of these challenges, we restore hope, dignity, resilience, and economic opportunity for vulnerable women, adolescent girls, couples, refugees, host communities, and youth in need of livelihood support.

Questions, answered
Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive a child after one year of regular, unprotected intercourse. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including hormonal imbalances, structural issues, genetic conditions, and lifestyle factors. Infertility affects both males and females and can be a complex and emotionally challenging condition to navigate.
Treatment options for infertility depend on the underlying cause of the condition. Common treatments include fertility medications, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and surgery. Lifestyle modifications, nutritional supplements, and alternative therapies may also be recommended to improve fertility.
Supporting a loved one struggling with infertility involves offering emotional support, listening without judgment, and validating their feelings. You can also help by educating yourself about infertility, respecting their privacy, and providing practical assistance when needed. Above all, be patient, compassionate, and understanding throughout their journey.
